STATE OF MAINE SUPERIOR COURT OXFORD, SS. CIVIL ACTION DOCKET NO. SOPSC-RE-22-17 ORDER FOR SERVICE BY PUBLICATION (Title to Real Estate Involved) GREGORY S. YOUNG, Plaintiff, v. MAINEHEALTH, d/b/a STEPHENS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, et al., Defendants. Upon review of the Plaintiff's Ex Parte Motion For Approval of Service by Publication, supporting Affidavit and the Complaint to Quiet Title, the Court finds that this is an action to quiet title to real estate located in Lovell, Maine, described in a Deed, recorded in the Oxford County (Western District) Registry of Deeds in Book 612, Page 171 and shown on a Plan recorded in the Oxford County (Western District) Registry of Deeds in Plan Book 3, Page 78; that this action will affect the interest of the Defendants MaineHealth, d/b/a Stephens-Memorial Hospital, Joni L. Cooke, Stephen G. Briggs, Scott O. Courtois, Pauline McDonald, Miriam Small, David H. Barker, Abron W. Campbell, Joel F. Campbell, Diane Bishop, Patricia Syx, Pamela Jannetty, and Jewell M. Johnson, as well as all heirs, devisees, grantees, personal representatives, creditors, lienors, and all other persons who may claim any right, title or interest in the within described real estate by, through or under Fred L. Harriman, late of Lovell, Maine, or through and under the individually-named Defendants; and that after due diligence the Plaintiff has been unable to ascertain the identity of the other Defendants. It is, therefore, ORDERED (a) that the Plaintiff's motion is granted; and (b) that this Order containing the summons set forth below shall be published once each week for three successive weeks in the Lewiston Sun Journal , a newspaper of general circulation in Oxford County. SUMMONS TO THE DEFENDANTS Gregory S. Young has filed a complaint in the Maine Superior Court, Oxford County, in order to quiet title to real estate located in Lovell, Maine described in a Deed recorded in the Oxford County (Western Division) Registry of Deeds in Book 612, Page 171 and shown on a Plan recorded in the Oxford County (Western Division) Registry of Deeds in Plan Book 3, Page 78. This action will affect any claim you may have to said real estate. If you wish to oppose this suit, you or your attorney must prepare and serve a written Answer to the Plaintiff within forty-one (41) days after the first publication of this Summons. You may obtain a copy of the complaint from the Plaintiff's attorney, Roy T. Pierce, Esq., Jensen Baird, P.O. Box 4510, Portland, ME 04112-4510. You or your attorney must serve your answer by delivering a copy of it in person or by mail to the Plaintiff's attorney, whose name and address appear above. You or your attorney must also file the original of your Answer by mailing it to the office of the Oxford County Superior Court, 26 Western Avenue, P.O. Box 179, South Paris, Maine 04821, before, or within a reasonable time after, it is served. IMPORTANT WARNING: IF YOU FAIL TO SERVE AN ANSWER WITHIN THE TIME STATED ABOVE, OR IF, AFTER YOU ANSWER, YOU FAIL TO APPEAR AT ANY TIME WHEN THE COURT NOTIFIES YOU TO DO SO, A JUDGMENT BY DEFAULT MAY BE ENTERED AGAINST YOU IN YOUR ABSENCE FOR THE RELIEF DEMANDED IN THE COMPLAINT, WHICH INCLUDES BARRING OF YOUR CLAIM, IF ANY, IN SAID REAL ESTATE.
